The HSA recommend that installations should be tested as follows:
- Residential 5 Years
- Commercial 5 Years
- Retail / Offices 5 Years
- Leisure complex 3 years
- Industrial 3 years
An ETCI periodic inspection may be required by your insurance company, Local authority or fire officer and even with out being requested, it is good practice to have an inspection test carried out by a safe electric registered contractor to establish the condition of your electrical installation regularly.
A ETCI Periodic inspection will determine whether or not the wiring installation is safe and meets the current wiring regulation standards
